Retired, in debt, raising a child — and financially lost. That’s where my story began.
Hi, I’m Arden. I live in Brooklyn, NY, and today I’m a licensed life insurance agent and financial
literacy coach. But not long ago, I was overwhelmed and nearly broke — even after earning
hundreds of thousands of dollars in my career.
My Story
I had retired — but I was carrying a large mortgage, living on limited income, and raising a
teenage daughter. I’d made good money, but somehow, I couldn’t tell you where it went. There
was always too much month at the end of the money. I felt ashamed, frustrated, and stuck.
That’s when I came face to face with a truth I’d never seen before:
I wasn’t broke. I was financially illiterate.
And it was costing me everything.
What Changed Everything
That moment led me to study the teachings of Dave Ramsey, and I enrolled in the Financial
Coach Master Training. Through that training, I didn’t just learn how to budget — I discovered
how money really works. I rebuilt my financial house from the ground up, and it became my
mission to help others do the same.
- My Role Today
Now, I serve as a Financial Literacy Coach — teaching working families how to take control of
their money — and as a licensed insurance representative in New York with Primerica,
offering term life protection for those who are ready to protect what they’ve built.
But first — I start with education. Always.

Because I’ve lived the consequences of financial illiteracy. I don’t want anyone else to learn the
hard way. That’s why I give away what I wish someone had given me — knowledge, guidance,
and a plan.
