About Arden C. Tannis
Arden C. Tannis is an author, Financial Architect, educator, speaker, and former Police Inspector whose work centers on responsibility, financial structure, family protection, stewardship, and legacy.
My Story
Born in Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Arden grew up in a culture shaped by faith, community, hard work, modesty, service, and quiet endurance. Those values stayed with him throughout his life and career.
But years of work and responsibility eventually confronted him with a difficult truth: hard work can keep a life moving without necessarily creating a structure strong enough to carry the future.
That realization became deeply personal when his daughter asked about a puppy he had promised her and then quietly lowered her request to a guinea pig.
What began as a father’s uncomfortable moment became a larger examination of money, inherited beliefs, responsibility, family, and what it actually means to build.
That experience eventually became The Cost of the Puppy and contributed to the development of the Financial House Method.
That’s when I came face to face with a truth I’d never seen before:
And it was costing me everything.
What Changed Everything
Today Arden’s work is expressed through books, financial education, speaking, workshops, and The Financial House Project — a platform built around a simple idea:
Money is building material. Structure determines what it becomes.
The Financial House Method helps people think about financial life the way a builder thinks about a house.
• Income provides material.
• A blueprint gives it direction.
• Systems create consistency.
• Protection prepares the household for storms.
• Growth increases capacity.
• And stewardship asks what remains after the builder.
- My Role Today
Arden’s work is especially concerned with hardworking families and providers who have carried responsibility faithfully but were never given a clear blueprint for turning effort into long-term structure.
His writing does not promise shortcuts, instant transformation, or easy answers. It invites readers to see more clearly, take responsibility for what they can change, and build with greater intention.
Arden lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his family.
